Alpha-Stim

·       Alpha-Stim is used to safely stimulate the brain to produce alpha waves. These wave are naturally produced by the brain when we day dream, meditate, or at the early stages of REM sleep. 

·       Although the mechanism is not fully understood alpha waves are associated with an increase in serotonin production and/or uptake.  Serotonin increases are associated with a feeling of wellness, positivity, and optimism. 

  ·       The combination of the initial effect as well as the lasting impact of the serotonin connection reduce anxiety and improve our overall outlook.
